You must set your domain to use our Name Servers if you want to use our DNS Service. There is a button in the control panel which will automatically set this for you.
Example of our Name Servers:
- kawanhost.mercury.orderbox-dns.com
- kawanhost.venus.orderbox-dns.com
- kawanhost.earth.orderbox-dns.com
- kawanhost.mars.orderbox-dns.com
Once you have set the name servers, you will need to create A Records to point it to your web hosting.
For example:
- kawanhost.com -> IP Address give by web hosting company
- www.kawanhost.com -> Same IP address as above. Or create a CNAME for www pointing to kawanhost.com
You can create both 1 and 2 so that both http://kawanhost.com and http://www.kawanhost.com will link to your website.
Why use KawanHost DNS Service?
We give you access to a domain control panel where you can edit your domain DNS records. If you set the name servers to your web hosting provider, then you may have to contact them to make changes to your DNS records.
Other Name Servers
Other than KawanHost, your may also use the name servers from:
- web hosting service (they will do DNS setting require for your website and email hosted by them). For Blogspot or Google Apps linking, please contact them to do the DNS settings as you are now using their name servers.
