This rebranding exercise will rename current online store as KawanHost RSC and introduce a new online store called KawanHost RSB.
New Online Store
A new Online Store called KawanHost RSB (http://rsb.kawanhost.com) will be launched on 15 August 2009. The normal prices for the usual .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz domains will be set at RM30 for New Registration and Renewal and RM25 for Transfer. The current store prices of RM30/yr will increase to RM35/yr from 15 September 2009 onwards.
Inline with this, the existing KawanHost Online Store (http://kawanhost.supersite.myorderbox.com) will now be rebranded as KawanHost RSC (http://rsc.kawanhost.com).
These two Online Store are from different companies. Their control panel however is using the same LogicBoxes platform. The reason for introducing KawanHost RSB is because they offer lower prices, especially for Transfer-Ins.
Pricing
Due to rising costs especially the USD exchange rate, some prices in KawanHost RSC will be increased. Effective from 15 September 2009 domain prices at RM30/year will be increased to RM35/year. You may still register a new domain at RM30/year from KawanHost RSB.
Existing KawanHost RSC domains that need to be renewed can do so for a lower price of RM25 by transferring to KawanHost RSB.
Malaysians who currently registers their domain names with overseas domain sellers may find it cheaper to transfer to KawanHost RSB than to renew with their current domain seller. As cheap as RM25 (bank in payment) or USD7.20 (Paypal) to transfer in that is.
